With bitcoin on a hot streak, up 45% this year already, investors have warned about a cooling as unrealized profit margins approach extreme levels.


Alef Aeronautics, the flying car startup backed by SpaceX, has nearly 3,000 pre-orders even though the prototypes haven't taken off yet. The firms is planning to charge customers $300,000 for the Model A when it becomes commercially available that would give it a combined order value of more than $900 million to date.


Microsoft is looking beyond OpenAI to invest in AI. It has announced it wants more 
partnerships and will invest $2.1 billion in the French startup Mistral AI. ``I really think this day is one of the most important days in terms of Microsoft’s technology support for Europe,” Microsoft President Brad Smith told CNBC on Monday.
